Zksync has received almost $500 million in seed funding from investors – including the Ethereum Foundation, making it one of the largest funded crypto projects. 3. Sui Network
The Sui Network is a unique layer 1 blockchain technology designed to enable creators and developers to build experiences that cater to the needs of billions in Web 3.0. It is being developed by MystenLabs, comprising many team members who are former employees of Meta (Facebook). It is a highly scalable layer 1 blockchain based on the MOVE programming language. There is no official launch date for the token release yet but the speculations are high that there will be one in 2023.
One of the upsides of Sui Network is its Move programming language which has seen favorable acceptance and use by developers. Move is also the programming language that was used for Aptos which is its direct competitor. Aptos gave out its airdrop in October 2022 worth several thousand dollars. Sui will likely follow in its footsteps to incentivize its users.
It is also worth mentioning that Sui is a project that has caught the attention of investors, with $300 million raised for its development. It is not likely there will be further token sales with such funds in its treasury, the more likely thing is that the team will work on attracting more users to the platform through airdrops incentives. Also, its token distribution shows a 20 percent allocation to “early contributors”.

Metamask is arguably the most popular crypto wallet, supporting different blockchains. It has integrated within it several exchange options. Metamask has already announced its plans to have its token – Mask and it will likely be by way of an airdrop to its users. When eventually launched, this will likely be very impactful since most people use the wallet. – Metamask has over 30 million monthly users.

LayerZero is a heavily funded project with over $300 million in its treasury and has the support of some big companies (Coinabase Capital, Binance Labs, Uniswap Labs, Polygon, Sequoia Capital) in the crypto space. The team has not given an indication yet that there will be a token or an airdrop but the developer’s document does point to the creation of a ZRO token.
